WEF Davos 2025
During the WEF 2025, on January the 17th and from January 20th until January 25th, 2025, the airspace around Davos will be restricted within a radius of 25 NM (LS-R90).
In addition, during this time, flightplans are required for VFR-Flights within LS-R90.
Additionally, for flights from/to LSZS with Y/Z flightplans, PPR is mandatory. All information, refer to the attached briefing “WEF 2025 IFR and AIP-SUP WEF 006/2024”. PPR-requests are managed by Engadin Airport. Please fill out the form 'PPR Request / Confirmation" (last page of the briefing) and send it with your handling request to our Handling Office: handling@engadin-airport.ch
The PPR-number that you will get with our confirmation, has to be inserted in field 18 of your flightplan. Please note that beside the additional information below, the official publications (AIP, VFR, SUP, NOTAMS) are mandatory as well.

Additional information to WEF 2025. (This concerns the "pure" VFR flights and not the "IFR joining / leaving" flights).
Please use the SSR Code 1666 for pattern flights at LSZS.
These flights do not need to be specifically reported to the Swiss Airforce - PPR station.
The pilots do not have to take radio contact with MIL RADAR.
No ICAO FLT PLN is required for these flights.Information: according to VFR SUP, on training flights an FI must be on board --- thus no solo flights of trainees.
VFR flights in the region (e.g. round trip) must be requested at the PPR location. Aircraft and pilot must be accredited according to VFR SUP. Make radio contact with MIL RADAR as far as possible.
VFR flights from / to LSZS to the published RTE are subject to the Accreditation / Approval / ICAO FLT PLN compulsory VFR SUP.
Any Samedan PPR numbers are not automatically a PPR for flying the LS-R 90. These are two independent approvals.
