Briefing and test
Safety first
The Engadine Airport is located in an Alpine setting at an altitude of 1,707 metres above sea level (5,600 ft). Approach and departure lead over several passes into a narrow alpine valley; summertime often brings "hot and high" conditions, and pilots will encounter many aircraft types. The Engadine Airport puts the safety of all involved parties first.
To ensure safe and smooth operations, all pilots and individuals that want to access the tarmac must complete an online briefing and pass the test that concludes the briefing.
Ban on drone flying
No drones are allowed in the airspace within a 5-kilometre radius of the Engadine Airport or the heliport in St. Moritz-Bad. Authorisations to fly a drone may be granted under special circumstances.
