Flight operators at the Engadine Airport
Home base
Engadine Airport is home to several flight operators. They are important partners for our region's provisioning, tourism and safety.
Air Corviglia
The private Engadine airline serves destinations across Europe with premier service and comfort. It flies from Samedan to major European and UK cities and smaller airports across the Alps, along the Mediterranean and the North Sea.
Bellavista Flyers
Gliding has always been a part of the Engadine Airport. Experienced pilots will happily take you on a sightseeing or taxi flight.
Heli Bernina
The local helicopter operator offers passenger flights (scenic or taxi flights), flights serving construction sites, forestry and alpine farmsteads and cabins, cargo flights, missions for public safety, rescue flights for humans and animals, and several other assignments.
Engine aircraft association
The 'Motorfluggruppe Oberengadin' was founded in 1979 and has been making its planes available to its members ever since. The local pilots mostly go on short sightseeing flights, do training flights or undertake trips to neighbouring European countries.
REGA, Swiss Air Rescue Guard
No other Rega air base is at a higher altitude than the base at the Engadine Airport, established in 1957. The Samedan-based REGA crew flies search and rescue flights around the clock, with most missions to Southern and Central Grisons and neighbouring countries. They are a linchpin in providing safety for our region.
Swiss Alpine Flying Center
The local flight school, Swiss Alpine Flying Center, offers introductory flights, flight training and briefings for pilots flying in or out of Engadine Airport.
Swiss Helicopter
Samedan is one of 14 Swiss Helicopter bases. Operations here range from sightseeing flights to photo flights and heli-skiing to transportation and installation flights and forestry services to service flights to alpine mountain huts and construction sites across the Engadine Valley and the neighbouring valleys of Southern Grisons.
